Summary The Systems Engineer will support the development, enhancement, and integration of Joint Training Tool (JTT) white cell control capabilities, specifically focused on Non-Kinetic Effects (NKE) systems. This position involves designing and implementing systems for the control, monitoring, display, and planning of NKEs within a simulated training environment. The engineer will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with JLVC standards and integration with data dashboards. This position will support the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE) Joint Staff J7(JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex. Essential Job Responsibilities

Enhance and evolve JTT white cell control capabilities Design tools for control, monitoring, and visualization of Non-Kinetic Effects Implement advanced geospatial visualization using Cesium-based execution maps Ensure compliance with evolving JLVC standards Conduct performance assessments and drive system improvements Integrate JTT systems with data dashboards for real-time visibility Lead architecture design, interface control, and system integration Maintain system documentation and interface control specifications Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and operational users Minimum Qualifications

2 years experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience. Strong background in modeling and simulation, especially JLVC and JTT Experience integrating Non-Kinetic Effects (NKE) systems Proficiency with CesiumJS, GIS platforms, or similar visualization tools Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps practices Experience with system performance optimization and evaluation Prior work supporting DoD training or operational systems Must have and be able to maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both in a team and individually Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction Physical Requirements
