Overview

The Senior Lead, Commitment Management is a pivotal leadership role within Citi's Chief Data Office (CDO), specifically situated within the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) organization. This role drives the execution of Citi's Data Transformation initiatives. The primary mandate is to support the remediation, successful closure, and post-closure validation of critical Data Commitments arising from regulatory or consent order obligations. As part of the EO&T division, the EDO shapes enterprise data governance and the data operating model, defines and enforces data policies and standards, and enables robust data governance and management across Citi. Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment & Challenge: Act as a liaison, translating execution-level details into strategic impact assessments. Independent Challenge & Outcome Assessment: Assess commitment outcomes against predefined criteria, ensuring alignment with the Quarterly Progress Report, Path to Closure, and Path to Target State. Inter-Commitment Synergy: Identify and manage dependencies across Consent Order commitments, facilitating stakeholder collaboration for efficiency and effectiveness. Expert Guidance & Oversight: Serve as a SME in data policies and transformation commitments, providing support for Data Transformation programs. Commitment Scoping & Review Leadership: Lead end-to-end scoping documents and coordinate reviews with relevant Lines of Defense stakeholders for accuracy and completeness. Executive Reporting & Support: Prepare tollgate executive summaries for review by the Executive Management Team (EMT). Progress Monitoring & Closure Management: Monitor progress, drive closure of commitments, and oversee post-closure validation and remediation to ensure ongoing compliance. Qualifications

10+ years of experience; Banking or Finance industry experience preferred in Data Governance, Data Management, Process Engineering, or related area Effective communication across audiences; ability to drive consensus and influence relationships at all levels Strong collaboration, partnership-building, and stakeholder management skills Negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across diverse stakeholders Process optimization with a focus on continuous improvement; ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail Organizational savvy: understands systems and management processes and where to obtain information Working knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance, and Data Compliance in large financial services firms Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Education

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00 Benefits
