Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Lead coordination of complex technical regulatory reviews as well as reviews conducted by internal audit and global compliance and operational risk (GCOR) for reviews that can be either Global Technology (GT) Divisionally focused or horizontal in nature and span across multiple CIOs within Global Technology, to ensure preparation and readiness of responses
Apply technical knowledge to understand and address regulatory/ audit /GCOR questions, coordinate appropriate responses from technical subject matter experts, manage engagement flow and timeline from start of engagement through to completion
Work closely with subject matter experts, and business partners to analyze engagement questions, understand and review technical evidence returned, ensure complete and accurate responses, and execute review and analysis of identified control deficiencies to drive to appropriate disposition
Interface with all levels of organization to ensure appropriate management involvement, awareness and understanding of risk, regulatory requirements, and impacts
Work under minimal supervision, managing regulatory, audit, and GCOR engagements and assessments requiring strong understanding of regulatory, audit/GCOR processes and procedures
Manually analyze unstructured data from multiple sources to identify key themes and impacts, and translate into clear, actionable executive-level reporting with strong data accuracy and minimal guidance
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with audit, exam management, and/or compliance (or similar experience)
Microsoft office- excel/pivot table, power point/presentation
SharePoint- using and maintaining/edits
Executive-level reporting experience
Proven Risk Leader with demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities; knowledge of risk management /risk framework; ability to identify, escalate, and debate risk
Ability to synthesize the complex into meaningful messaging to drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input, and when to act independently
Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of aligning stakeholders, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization; proven ability to influence peers/stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global and fast paced environment
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, influencing the opinions and actions of key stakeholders and gaining their trust
Detail oriented with an ability to review documentation for accuracy and report on the status of risk reviews
Ability to "connect the dots" for others across multiple data points, make connections upstream/downstream that may not be easily noticeable
Strong ability to manually analyze unstructured data from various sources, identify key themes and impacts, and produce clear, concise reports for executive-level audiences with strong data accuracy and minimal guidance
Knowledge of project management concepts
A problem solver who can manage through ambiguity and controversial situations successfully
Desired skills:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM certification or similar
Prior operational risk or compliance experience in the technology arena
Detailed, bank-specific risk management and governance experience
Cyber security or information security domain knowledge
Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
Executive-level reporting experience in the risk management arena
Pay range:
$36.18 - $44.18
