Program CNC work centers from blueprint to first article for lathes and mills. Partner with Leads, setup personnel, and shop supervisors to ensure seamless handoffs and minimal downtime. Provide floor support: technical guidance, corrective actions, and root‑cause troubleshooting. Train operators and new hires on setups, program changes, and machining best practices. Review drawings, identify/correct print issues, and collaborate with engineering. Apply deep knowledge of materials, insert grades, and tooling to improve performance and tool life. Run time studies and estimate cycle times using CAM software to validate routings. Model professional conduct and champion a culture of accuracy and craftsmanship. Qualifications
5+ years of CNC Lathe & Mill programming experience, blueprint to first article. 2+ years using Mastercam and/or Esprit. Expertise in blueprint reading, setup, tooling selection, and multi‑axis programming. Comfort with Quality Control measuring and testing equipment. Experience training others and troubleshooting on the shop floor. Tools and technologies
CNC Lathes (2–4 axis): Doosan, Okuma, DMG Mori Seiki CAM: Esprit (and Mastercam experience welcomed) Programming: G‑Code, M‑Code Work environment & physical requirements
Blend of shop and office work; PPE required in production areas. Ability to lift and handle materials up to 70 lbs as needed. Why B&G Manufacturing
