We are a third‑generation family business expanding to add a Multi‑Axis CAM Programmer who can take a print and deliver a first‑article program that runs clean and repeatable. Responsibilities
End‑to‑end programming for CNC lathes and mills, from blueprint to first article. Partner with leads, setup personnel, and shop supervisors to maintain production continuity and reduce downtime. Train operators on setups, edits, and machining methods. Review drawings and coordinate with engineering to resolve print issues for quality and correctness. Select materials/tooling and optimize strategies to improve process performance. Estimate cycle times and plan throughput using CAM data. Set a professional example and promote precision within the shop culture. Must‑have background
5+ years programming CNC lathes and mills; proven first‑article ownership. 2+ years experience with Mastercam and/or Esprit. Strong blueprint literacy, setups, tooling selection, and multi‑axis programming. Hands‑on use of QC measuring/testing equipment. History of training others and troubleshooting on the floor. Tech stack & machines
CNC Lathes (2–4 axis): Doosan, Okuma, DMG Mori Seiki CAM: Esprit; Mastercam experience valued Languages: G‑Code, M‑Code Work realities
Hybrid shop/office presence with required PPE in manufacturing areas. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs as needed. Why you’ll love B&G
