Hiring Opportunity: Hiram, Ohio Our client is looking to hire an I.T. Systems Analyst for their plant in Hiram! Our client is a world leader in manufacturing environmentally clean marine equipment. Qualified candidates for this position would need a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer science, IS, or a related field, 5+ years of experience as a systems analyst or business analyst within a manufacturing or industrial background, solid understanding of ERP systems, an understanding of SQL's, and familiarity with SDLC's. Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in a System Analyst or Business Analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Solid understanding of ERP systems, manufacturing workflows, and process automation. Proficiency with SQL and relational databases for querying and reporting. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and system integration concepts. Preferred: Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, or Tableau. Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ITAR, SOX) relevant to manufacturing environments. Project coordination or junior project management experience is a plus. Job Responsibilities:

Analyze existing manufacturing and business processes to identify system gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, define, and document moderately complex business and technical requirements. Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Assist in feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed IT solutions. Design and configure system enhancements and process improvements with minimal supervision. Partner with developers and technical teams to ensure solutions are properly built, tested, and deployed. Support project management efforts by contributing to timelines, risk identification, and resource planning. Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing, and coordinate defect resolution with development teams. Support integration between core manufacturing systems and peripheral applications. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with support teams to implement solutions. Maintain system documentation, including process flows, technical specs, and configuration guides. Provide second-level user support and help train users on new features or tools. Assist in maintaining data integrity across systems by collaborating with data owners and administrators. Design and develop moderately complex reports, queries, and dashboards to support decision-making. Monitor data workflows and recommend improvements to enhance data accessibility and reporting accuracy.
