Overview

This full-time Select Exempt Service position is based in the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Office of Conservation Engagement and Education (CEE) Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN), serving as the Partnership Program Administrator. The Partnership Program Administrator will supervise seven to nine experienced Regional Partnership Coordinators and work to develop innovative approaches to implementing the FYCCN Partnership Program across the state. The FYCCN has conservation centers, regional partnership coordinators, the Project WILD program, and hundreds of Partners. Responsibilities

Supervise seven to nine statewide staff (Regional Partnership Coordinators) and act as statewide project lead over Regional Partnership Coordinators. Identify and organize effective programmatic linkages for a varied group of stakeholders, constituents, and partners. Assist staff with training needs, knowledge, and abilities; develop and update policies, procedures, and training processes. Ensure program staff compliance with FWC training requirements, policies, and procedures; prioritize workloads and conduct on-site observations to assess project functions, methods, and equipment. Conduct routine meetings to keep staff informed; perform organizational studies and evaluate work plans for efficiency and effectiveness. Serve as a CEE and/or FYCCN liaison on conservation education, strategic planning, and policy/business teams; assist with outreach and recruitment strategies. Provide technical assistance, consultation, and direction for development, implementation, and expansion of youth conservation initiatives in state agencies and local governments. Provide guidance on conservation education curricula for FYCCN centers and school programs. Attend staff meetings, submit required reports, participate in professional development, and maintain accurate and confidential documentation; assist with large event planning as needed; perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications

Seven years of professional experience in natural science or education, with three years in fish and wildlife conservation field work or conservation program implementation, or environmental/conservation education centers with a focus on youth programming. Substitution options: a) bachelor’s degree + three years of relevant experience; b) master’s degree + two years; c) doctorate may substitute for required experience. Requirements

Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver License. Statewide travel required (1-25%). Full-time, 40 hours/week; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (ET); Monday–Friday. May require extended hours, evenings, and weekends. Successful completion of fingerprint-based criminal history check prior to or within first three days of employment. Within one year of employment, completion and certification in First Aid/CPR/AED, FWC Trailer Training, Boater Safety Certification, Hunter Safety Certification, ACA Kayak Level 1, and USA Archery Level I. Tallahassee (Leon County) area residency preferred; other Florida locations may be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Customer service and public administration principles; ability to motivate, develop, and supervise staff. Knowledge of personnel/human resources policies and practices; ability to determine work priorities, assign tasks, and evaluate performance. Knowledge of fishing, boating, paddle craft, firearms, archery, hunting, and shooting sports. Strong operational planning, delegation, team-building, and public speaking; clear verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MFMP, STMS, and People First. Ability to learn finance and budget processes; emotional intelligence; ability to work with diverse stakeholders and audiences; strong problem-solving and analytic skills. Ability to work independently, take initiative, travel (including overnight), and lift up to 35 pounds; able to work in various weather conditions. Why should I apply?
