The role focuses on unlocking Built’s largest revenue opportunities by delivering features in a sustainable, scalable way. The team develops products that connect internal and external systems, enabling users to create customized data pipelines by linking various products and services. You will work on: Creating new or extending existing React micro frontends, Node APIs, and data pipelines (Python) backed by MySQL or DynamoDB; contributing as we shift toward an event-driven architecture Spending the majority of time coding and collaborating with the team Owning code quality, performance monitoring, documentation, and maintaining high standards Responsibilities Work on a team delivering practical solutions for large-scale problems and everyday quality-of-life improvements for our next-generation platform (iPaaS) to build integrations with customer systems Develop in a full-stack environment (backend Python/AWS, frontend React, REST APIs, microservices) Write tests to maintain product integrity Ensure code quality, organization, and automation across codebases Participate in code reviews Estimate tasks from project requirements Collaborate with team members, designers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions Contribute to major frontend and backend features used by customers Develop new features and enhance existing ones in core domains; knowledge of Generative/Agentic AI is a plus Qualifications 3+ years of experience building customer-facing React applications, ideally with TypeScript Experience building production backend APIs supporting customer-facing features Full-stack development is strongly preferred; mastery of frontend with goal of full-stack competency is possible Passion for building quality, testable code with automation; able to mentor others in small cross-functional teams Excellent troubleshooting skills across websites, application servers, networks, and databases Strong customer focus (internal and external) High ownership and accountability of delivery and work product Optional experience with refactoring initiatives or contributing to legacy code Experience in a growing company (startup or growth stage) Tech Stack Frontend: React, Redux, TypeScript, Jest, Enzyme, Selenium Backend/Services: Python, Docker, AWS APIs: Node.js/Express with TypeScript Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS Emphasis on quality and safety in the codebase Compensation & Perks Salary range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000 USD per year. The range reflects potential growth with proficiency. Total compensation includes equity, medical/dental/vision coverage, unlimited PTO, and additional benefits.
