Overview
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role at Empower Behavioral Health (EBH). EBH provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to learners with autism and other developmental disabilities, with a mission to empower families and maximize learners' potential. Responsibilities
Provide clinic-based ABA services to EBH patients and families Supervise implementation of treatment to ensure satisfactory protocol execution Conduct initial and follow-up assessments and parent questionnaires Develop and write individualized behavior acquisition programs for patients Conduct descriptive and functional analyses as part of functional assessments Write behavior intervention plans for behavior reduction targets Develop and write initial treatment plans and update plans per best practice and insurance guidelines Implement and supervise data collection systems Provide behavioral support for patients in an interdisciplinary treatment setting Evaluate and report patient progress toward treatment goals and oversee transition and discharge planning Conduct individual parent/caregiver trainings monthly at minimum and group trainings as needed Attend department and interdisciplinary staff meetings Maintain BCBA certification by obtaining continuing education in BACB-required categories Obtain and maintain state licensure Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Requirements and Qualifications
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field Board certification and in good standing as a BCBA Current BCBA licensure in Texas (or ability to obtain and maintain) Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities Competencies: Planning and Evaluating, Problem-Solving, Customer Service, Decision Making, Interpersonal Skills, Time Management, and Written/Oral Communication Ability to move or transport up to 50 lbs; ability to participate in 6–8 hour sessions; respond quickly to manage behaviors; kneeling/kneeling and transitions as needed Education and Licensure
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field BCBA certification in good standing Must obtain and maintain current BCBA licensure in Texas Experience
Minimum of 2 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities Physical Requirements
Must be able to move or transport up to 50 lbs Must be able to participate in 6–8 hour sessions and respond to behavioral incidents Must be able to be seated on the floor when needed and transition quickly to respond to aggression/severe behavior Must be able to perform physical management as required Salary
$80,000 - $90,000 annually Employment Type
