Staff Management and Training: Direct kitchen staff, ensure productivity and maintain food quality; provide consistent training. Daily Use Records: Work with the Executive Sous Chef to inspect daily use records and track food yields and usage. Waste Control: Oversee production, manage leftovers, and minimize waste. Clear Communication: Provide verbal and written direction to staff for consistency. Team Collaboration: Attend associate meetings and promote open communication across kitchen areas. Housekeeping: Enforce good housekeeping practices and daily cleaning checklists; implement "clean as you go". Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, ensure standards, address deficiencies, and provide feedback. Profitability and Cost Control: Drive revenue while controlling costs and ensuring cost-effective operations. Talent Development: Develop and mentor internal talent for leadership roles. Food and Banquet Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, including banquets, and ensure proper handling and storage of food. Menu and Inventory Management: Coordinate purchasing, menu development, and maintain food and labor costs within budgets. This role requires culinary expertise, leadership, financial management, and team development to meet the standards of excellence at The ART Hotel and FIRE Restaurant. What We Are Looking For in a Hotel Executive Chef

High school diploma or equivalent Effective English communication; guest and staff interaction Professional, even-tempered demeanor and appearance Team-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in Supervisory skills: planning, organizing, directing, coaching, training, and disciplining Ability to operate kitchen equipment with dexterity Strong understanding of business and financial principles, including budgeting and cost control Ability to implement marketing techniques and drive growth Knowledge of food and wine pairing is advantageous Applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays.
