Job Description As a Chef de Cuisine, you will demonstrate leadership and interpersonal strengths to maximize Food and Beverage Operations and ensure an exceptional guest journey. You will train, supervise and work with all kitchen staff to prepare and present exceptional cuisine according to standard recipes and hotel guidelines. What You Will Be Doing Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, responsibilities include but are not limited to: Create unforgettable experiences for our guests Provide professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues Oversee Culinary Operations for outlet kitchens, including Brown’s Beach House and Hale Kai with Beach & Pool service Conduct meetings, menu briefings and daily shift briefings Manage inventories, pricing, cost controls, requisitioning and equipment for food production Cost menus accurately and contribute to menu development Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef & Executive Chef on innovative products Maintain communication with Outlet Manager regarding guest feedback Maintain cleanliness and proper rotation of products in chillers Balance operational and colleague needs; ensure staffing aligns with productivity Ensure standards and expectations are understood by all kitchen staff Ensure proper staffing and scheduling per productivity guidelines Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils and equipment Follow kitchen policies and service standards; apply knowledge of food products and standard recipes Analyze data to forecast payroll and production needs Supervise staff and achieve goals in a timely manner Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Other duties as assigned Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Previous leadership experience in the culinary field, required Diploma certification in a culinary discipline, preferred Natural leader, organized with strong time management Team player with collaborative approach Ability to coordinate a team, work well under fast-paced and high-pressure environments, remain calm and courteous, and prioritize guest needs Additional Information Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 USD Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; hotel cannot assist with U.S. work authorization Team and working environment: Kaizen mindset focusing on continuous improvement; collaborative and innovative Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company committed to attracting, recruiting and promoting diverse talent Why work for Accor?: A global leader with growth opportunities; Accor supports your growth and learning By joining Accor, your career story is yours to write; visit careers.accor.com About Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Fairmont Hotels & Resorts offers exceptional hospitality experiences worldwide.
