This position requires relocation to Washington, DC. A recruitment incentive of $50,000 is available for eligible applicants. The Uniformed Division Officer's duties include: Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area. Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions. Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A. Requirements for the position include: U.S. citizenship Valid U.S. driver's license Age 20-37 (unless previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position) Ability to carry and use a firearm Uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular Corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye Passing a drug test and random drug testing Completing 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and 17 weeks of specialized training Registration with the Selective Service System (for male applicants born after December 31, 1959) This is an entry-level, full-time position in law enforcement.
