A Mental Health and Wellness Associate position is available at an elementary school in San Jose, CA, from August 13th, 2025, to December 19th, 2025, on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting the mental health and wellness of students, staff, and families within a multi-tiered intervention framework. Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic strategies and interventions tailored to elementary students, collaborating with the comprehensive school team, and engaging in outreach to enhance student well-being and school experience. The associate will play a key role in addressing student mental health needs and supporting a positive educational environment. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) Alternatively, candidates with a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license are also encouraged to apply Experience working with elementary school students Clinical supervision provided for candidates working toward licensure requirements Location: San Jose, CA elementary school setting This opportunity offers valuable experience working within a school environment dedicated to mental health and student wellness.
