The Watergate Hotel is situated within walking distance of the best the city has to offer. The Watergate Hotel is currently seeking talented Server to join our dynamic Food & Beverage operation! Base pay range
$10.00/hr - $10.00/hr Qualifications
2+ years of direct server experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant or hotel setting. Those with luxury hotel server experience will be preferred. Superior food knowledge including varied ingredients, preparation techniques and cuisine styles; prior experience in pairing food with wine, spirits, beer, etc. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays. Superior communication skills with fluency in English required; bi-lingual abilities will be preferred. Current TIPS certification is required; if your certification is not current, you must be able to successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment. High School Diploma required; college degree preferred. Experience with up-selling and informing guests of dining options to enhance the dining experience. Must be physically able to meet the demands of the position (carrying/lifting heavy trays, walking/standing for extended periods, climbing/descending stairs with trays, etc.). Job details
