Health and Safety Manager
to lead our environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and in fostering a culture of safety across all operations. Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures. Deliver training and education to employees on safety procedures, PPE usage, emergency response, and hazardous materials handling. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and compliance reports. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate safety into operational planning and decision-making. Stay current with evolving regulations and industry best practices, and ensure timely updates to policies and procedures. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or chemical manufacturing safety management. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Certification in safety (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
