Lab Research Technician (Part-time) at Tulane University. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain biological and clinical databases Define and validate data analysis systems Review and maintain data management project documentation Produce status reports for sponsors Resolve discrepancies in data validation and reports Assist in grant and paper writing, program design and implementation, compliance and grant reporting Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good command of written and verbal communication Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Ability to work within a team and support junior staff Familiarity with data analysis software Required Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree and one year of directly related work experience Preferred Qualifications

Proficient in using computers with knowledge of software programs and web design/maintenance Knowledge of biology and genomics is desirable but not required Experience in scientific paper writing, data analysis and grant management
