California State University, Fresno, Craig School of Business, Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain an active program of scholarly and applied research, and engage in service to the department, college, university, and community. Primary teaching responsibilities and research interests are expected to focus on Decision Sciences and Information Systems, with teaching assignments based on departmental needs and the candidate’s expertise. Candidates with especially strong research and teaching experience may be considered for the Brix Endowed Chair. The ISDS Department currently hosts two options: Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Data Analytics (DA). ISDS offers a wide range of courses within these areas, including statistics, analytics, machine learning, database management, systems analysis, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Qualifications: Required Education: An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Business (in the areas of Analytics, Decision Sciences, Information Systems) or other closely related areas from an AACSB-accredited institution is required. Candidates with earned doctorates in a closely related field from a similarly situated school or institution may also be considered. Applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered. The doctorate must be completed by August 1, 2026. Required Experience: Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Experience in, or strong potential for, excellence in teaching. A record of, or strong potential for, conducting high-quality research. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching expertise in business analytics, machine learning, database management, and cybersecurity. Business, managerial, or professional experience in related areas. Substantial teaching experience with evidence of teaching excellence. An established record of research and scholarly publications. Application Procedures

The Craig School of Business (CSB) empowers future business leaders by helping students embark on successful careers in business and economics. With approximately 3,000 majors, we offer bachelors degrees in Business Administration (with 12 different options) and Economics, and both a traditional and executive MBA. Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated hiring range is $10,750-$11,750 per month for Assistant Professor (12 monthly payments per academic year). As a member of the 23-campus CSU System, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. Other Campus Information
