Adjunct, Lander College for Men

Overview Touro's Lander College of Men's is hiring adjunct faculty. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. Responsibilities

Prepares and delivers lectures to undergraduate students Prepare course materials including: syllabi, exams, homework assignments, and handouts Creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning Preparing students for assessments and providing helpful performance feedback Maintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students checking college emails regularly Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum Qualifications

Education/ Experience A Master’s or PhD. in the relevant academic field Previous college level teaching experience *Excluding adjuncts working in the athletic department Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Demonstrated ability and desire to teach Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Expert knowledge of field Ability to make decisions and solve problems Performs administrative activities Maximum SalaryUSD $3,250.00/Sem Minimum SalaryUSD $2,750.00/Sem #J-18808-Ljbffr
