Bednark’s Special Teams crew is a versatile group of builders and makers who jump in wherever support is needed across the shop. As a Special Teams Crew Member, you’ll work alongside CNC, Carpentry, Finishing, and Packing teams, helping to keep production running smoothly, projects on track, and the shop organized. This team works on a shift schedule of Wednesday–Saturday, 10:00am–8:00pm , with occasional Tuesday or Sunday shifts. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek (our workweek runs Sunday through Saturday). This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, adapts quickly, and takes pride in producing quality work. The ideal candidate is a jack-of-all-trades and a master of at least one area (CNC, carpentry, finishing, AV, etc.). Crew members receive instruction from department managers but are expected to take initiative, manage their time effectively, and follow through without constant supervision. Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Responsibilities

Check inventory for departments and provide lists to managers. Clean and organize the shop to support production. Set up production teams for the following day. Assist CNC with part preparation. Perform light carpentry, including boxes, flats, laminate layups, and part organization. Support finishing tasks such as patching, sanding, and rolling paint. Assist with wrapping, packing, and prepping elements for delivery. Follow directions from department managers and ask clarifying questions when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Always wear proper PPE. Bonus Skills

Ability to operate a 26’ truck for deliveries. AV knowledge for setups and troubleshooting. Forklift operation experience. Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in fabrication, carpentry, finishing, or related trades. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Flexibility to handle a wide range of tasks. Ability to stay focused, listen well, and work independently after receiving direction. Valid driver’s license (preferred). Why Join Bednark?
