Responsibilities
Supervision of Bridge Field Inspection.
Ensure material testing is compliant with project specifications and RIDOT schedule of testing requirements.
Coordinate with contractor QC personnel and RIDOT Materials Lab to collect test samples and material certifications.
Plans, reviews, and assigns work of construction field office personnel including Lochner staff, sub-consultants and partners
Supervises a team of inspectors responsible for monitoring work quality and performance
Reviews project activities with client and contractor's field supervision to resolve disputes and other project issues
Read and Interpret complex contract plans and specifications
Read and interpret construction contract language
Qualifications
NICET or PE + 6 years’ structural engineering experience.
BSCE or NICET required.
Willingness to work weekends, nights, and swing shifts as required on assigned projects
Requires progressive work related experience
