Provide instruction, leadership, and supervision to middle school students participating in the sports program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with practices by emphasizing teamwork, skill development, understanding rules and strategies, and student-athlete improvement. Engage in academic monitoring with teachers, counselors, and support staff. Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices and contests, including in locker rooms, on buses, and at other times. Be punctual for all practices and games and remain until all student-athletes have left. Care for equipment and manage inventory responsibly. Complete all required paperwork such as rosters, physicals, insurance forms, and parent consent forms. Coordinate transportation, facilities, officials, and game management. Maintain ethical conduct during practices and contests, exemplifying sportsmanship. Assist in program coordination. Promote student-athletes' academic and athletic achievements. Pursue professional growth through clinics and publications. Supervisory Responsibilities
