Overview

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek clinician scientists to join the Department of Emergency Medicine. Academic rank and track are commensurate with academic record and experience. The department is committed to compassionate, evidence-based care and to advancing patient care, education, and clinical research in emergency medicine. Conduct clinical research in emergency care in collaboration with department colleagues and external partners. Pursue and maintain NIH or equivalent extramural funding. Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly activities; represent the program or Department at committees, conferences, and professional meetings. Perform clinical duties in OSUWMC Emergency Departments and Advanced Urgent Cares as assigned; practice within Medical Center policies, procedures, and standards. Requirements

Doctoral degree in medicine; residency training and board certification in Emergency Medicine. Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio. Additional graduate-level research training (Masters or Doctorate) highly desirable. Scientific expertise in emergency care; minimum 5 years of experience; substantial scientific publication record. National recognition and NIH or equivalent extramural funding highly desirable. How To Apply
