The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks Pediatric Gastroenterology candidate for a position as Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics with specialization in colorectal, gastrointestinal motility, aerodigestive and functional GI disorder. The candidate must hold an MD/DO degree, be BC/BE in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Gastroenterology and will hold, or are eligible for, an Illinois physician license. Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks Pediatric Gastroenterology candidate for a position as Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics with specialization in colorectal, gastrointestinal motility, aerodigestive and functional GI disorder. The candidate must hold an MD/DO degree, be BC/BE in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Gastroenterology and will hold, or are eligible for, an Illinois physician license.

Duties & Responsibilities

Proven acute and ongoing consultative care to children with colorectal, gastrointestinal motility, aerodigestive and functional GI disorders in the hospital and outpatient setting. Participate in teaching medical students, resident and other health professionals Develop & conduct clinical and/or basic research in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology. Perform other duties of a University faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development, student counseling and administration. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

MD/DO degree Eligible for licensure in Illinois. Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology 3 years pediatric residency/3 years fellowship pediatric gastroenterology

UICOMP is one of the three regional campuses of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, one of the largest public medical schools in the country. Jump replicates a variety of patient care settings to ensure novice and seasoned clinicians can practice handling medical situations in a real-world environment.
