About the Job The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences is seeking a full-time, board-certified Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma ophthalmology. The position includes active clinical practice at the University of Minnesota and possibly satellite facilities.

The role involves supervising, mentoring, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, along with curriculum development. The successful candidate will participate in research projects and scholarly activities, either as a collaborator or independent researcher, and engage in faculty development aligned with their career goals.

Qualifications MD degree, completion of an Ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship, board certification, licensure eligibility in Minnesota, and experience or interest in clinical research. The hire will be at Professor rank on the Clinician track.

Pay and Benefits The salary starts at $52,000, with a total range of $300,000-$428,000, dependent on effort and market benchmarks. The appointment is 75%-100%.
