hands-on Executive Chef
to lead its respected culinary team. This is not just a leadership role — it’s a working position that requires daily presence on the line, collaboration with the team, and direct involvement in every aspect of the kitchen. The ideal candidate is passionate about cooking, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings both creativity and discipline to the kitchen. Key Responsibilities: Lead by example as a working chef, actively participating in food prep and service Oversee all culinary operations, including menu development, inventory, and ordering Ensure top-tier food quality, consistency, and presentation Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing kitchen team Maintain food and labor cost controls while upholding exceptional standards Collaborate with ownership on seasonal changes and specialty offerings What We're Looking For: Previous experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Sous Chef in upscale dining is required Strong preference for chefs with a background in Italian cuisine and scratch kitchens Must be comfortable on the line and in all areas of kitchen operations Skilled in seafood preparation, house-made pastas, and premium meats Strong leadership, organization, and communication abilities What We Offer: Fully-paid health insurance for the employee Profit-sharing opportunities with tenure Supportive, stable ownership with a loyal clientele A well-established operation with a strong reputation for quality and service If you’re an experienced, working Executive Chef ready to bring leadership and passion to a respected culinary institution, we want to hear from you.
