Job Description The Educational Service Center of Central Ohio is seeking a school psychologist who is organized, efficient, and self-motivated. The successful candidates must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as demonstrated experience as a child advocate. Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and triennial re-evaluations, collaborating with teachers and instructional staff to develop research-based instructional and behavioral practices and interventions, ensuring policy adherence, and supporting the district's move towards a preventative RTI and MTSS process.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid school psychology license and certification from the Ohio Department of Education
Training and/or experience in Response to Intervention (RTI) and MTSS strategies
Experience with Intervention Assistance Teams and designing interventions
Clear criminal record documentation
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations
Provide best practices for social and emotional development in children and youth
Implement academic and behavioral interventions at the building level
Facilitate individual and group counseling
Consult with building teams as needed
Salary Commensurate with experience and according to the salary schedule.
Reports To Executive Director for the Center of Student Services.
