The Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. The successful candidate will join the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation as a Neuromuscular Neurologist, with a primary focus on outpatient and inpatient clinical practice and teaching opportunities related to residents, fellows, medical students, and potential research involvement.
Rank of appointment (Assistant/Associate) is open and commensurate with experience. This position supports the University’s mission and commitment to excellence in students, faculty, staff, and activities.
Responsibilities
Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
Attend meetings, participate in governance, and prepare teaching materials.
Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate coursework.
Participate in college/university committees and curriculum development activities.
Supervise laboratories (where appropriate), oversee independent study activities, and off-campus learning as needed.
Engage in activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
Render service to the professional or lay community relevant to the academic specialty.
Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO with Board eligibility or Board certification.
Active State of Ohio Medical License.
Completion of 4-year residency in Neurology.
1 year Fellowship training.
