Pediatric Hematology Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor The Division of Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University seeks board-certified/eligible pediatric hematology applicants who can contribute to the Division’s clinical and research enterprise at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the University Medical Line. Responsibilities
The major criteria for appointment in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Qualifications
MD or equivalent; board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology; California Medical License by time of hire. Clinical experience in pediatric hematology and an interest in program development. Physician-scientists and clinical investigators with expertise in hemoglobinopathies, other red cell disorders, bone marrow failure, or thrombosis are highly preferred. Experience or potential in developing and guiding clinical and/or translational research programs in pediatric hematology with a record or potential of successful collaboration and mentorship. Compensation and Benefits
The Expected Base Pay Range for this position is: Assistant Professor: $214 – 239K Associate Professor: $264 – 289K Professor: $327 – 352K This pay range reflects base pay and is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive programs.
