Location: 1333 West Loop South, Ste 1500, Houston, TX 77027 Eligibility for Remote: No Grade: Commission What The Role Is A Linscomb Wealth, Wealth Advisor III has a well-established and highly sustainable client book of business. They have a proven ability to consistently fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Wealth Advisor III, and have done so over a long period of time. A WA III’s primary focus is on ongoing, proactive client engagement, with business development and organic book growth as components given the established client book. WA IIIs typically serve as primary for most client relationships, while also supporting secondary roles when needed. WA IIIs operate with a high degree of autonomy within the firm and team structure. They are encouraged to continue developing their skill set and may mentor or train newer and future wealth advisors. What You Will Do / How You Will Make an Impact Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the Linscomb Wealth client relationships they serve. Work closely with clients and prospective clients to identify, refine and update key goals and objectives. Lead the development and implementation of a client’s holistic and personalized plan, including portfolio allocation and overall wealth planning needs. Outline and refine a prioritized action plan for achieving client goals; update action plans as needed and review with clients at least annually. Routinely engage with clients in a proactive manner, using the firm’s CRM and other systems to track communication, engagement, and advice-related matters. Proactively reach out to clients regarding portfolio items, plan updates, and to build trust and broaden client relationships over time. Remain available and responsive to client questions, concerns, and servicing needs. Mentor and train newer or future wealth advisors as appropriate. Coordinate with internal teams (Investment, Wealth Planning, Operations, Trading, Client Service) to implement client portfolio solutions and ongoing servicing needs. Collaborate with other professionals (CPA, estate attorney, insurance agents, bankers) to quarterback the overall engagement and implementation of a client’s holistic plan. Identify opportunities to expand share of wallet and develop ongoing savings plans where applicable. Achieve a high level of client retention in line with the firm’s long-standing history. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related business field. 15–20 years of related professional work experience. Stable work history and demonstrated high-level performance. CFP or similar, well-recognized industry designation. Strong team engagement and buy-in, with strategic and tactical leadership with clients. Proactive client engagement and outreach. Commitment to firm policy and best practices. Book revenue and AUM growth to support WA III book development. High client retention expectations. Proactive and strong work ethic; ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Professional appearance and demeanor; ability to work well in a team environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office and other firm software/systems; strong writing and presenting skills. Mentorship and training for newer and future wealth advisors; ongoing development of technical and soft skills. No supervisory responsibilities for this role.
