Position Summary As our client expands their presence in Houston, TX, they are seeking an experienced
Financial Advisor
to join their growing team and drive deep relationships. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, providing tailored investment strategies and financial guidance rooted in the firm’s quantitatively driven, research-based methodology.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with clients across the Houston market, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and individual circumstances.
Custom Investment Planning:
Develop and implement personalized investment strategies aligned with the firm’s globally diversified, tax-optimized approach.
Portfolio Oversight:
Monitor client portfolios, rebalance as needed, and provide proactive guidance based on market trends and client updates.
Comprehensive Financial Advice:
Offer strategic guidance on retirement planning, estate planning, tax strategy, and wealth preservation.
Client Communication:
Deliver regular performance updates, host strategy meetings, and educate clients to support confidence and informed decision-making.
Business Development:
Help grow the firm’s Houston footprint by identifying and engaging prospective clients through referrals, networking, and local partnerships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
10+ years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or financial planning, preferably for high-net-worth clients.
FINRA Series 65 license (or ability to obtain promptly).
Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio strategy.
Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to build trust and rapport with sophisticated clients.
Houston-based network and knowledge of the local market.
Focus on advising a niche market of value creators is a plus.
