Controller

KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established, family-owned business in the Hampshire County area and they are seeking a hands-on Controller to join their growing team. This role will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide guidance on budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations

Manage month-end and year-end close processes

Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Collaborate with leadership to support financial planning and strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Advanced Excel and ERP system experience

Proven leadership and supervisory skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
