As a Senior Tax Associate, you will work directly with clients across industries, assist in tax planning, and lead the preparation and review of various tax returns. You’ll collaborate with managers and partners, supervise junior staff, and grow your technical expertise while helping our clients meet their tax compliance and planning needs.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Conduct tax research and provide technical support on complex tax issues
Assist in year-round tax planning for clients
Supervise, mentor, and review work of junior staff and interns
Maintain strong relationships with clients and support effective communication
Stay updated on current tax laws and regulatory changes
Qualifications
CPA license or eligible to sit for the CPA exam
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with tax software such as UltraTax, Lacerte, or CCH Axcess
