Responsibilities:
Prepare and file tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and complex individual returns (1040s)
Maintain and strengthen trusted client relationships
Conduct tax research and assist with planning strategies
Collaborate closely with senior staff in a team-focused environment
Resolve IRS and state tax notices with accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax (CPA preferred, but not required) 2+ years of public accounting experience as a tax preparer Strong technical skills in tax preparation, review and research Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Preferred Qualifications: Experience with UltraTax, CCH Axcess or similar tax software. CPA and/or EA certification
Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 per year
