A law firm seeks a Banking and Finance Counsel to join their Dallas, TX office. This position offers a broad-based practice with strong partner support and exposure to complex financings across various industries. The role involves structuring, negotiating, and implementing both domestic and global finance transactions.
Duties
Draft and negotiate commercial terms grids, commitment letters, and definitive documentation for leveraged finance transactions. Execute and manage deals effectively. Supervise, mentor, and train associates. Coordinate with other groups within the firm. Contribute to pitches and business development efforts. Requirements
7+ years of meaningful experience in banking and finance law. Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills. Strong market knowledge and ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of academic achievement. Experience in a peer law firm. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications
Bar admission in Texas or eligibility to waive in. Skills
