One of Vaco's PE-backed business outsourcing clients with operations across the US is looking to scale the finance team including adding a Financial Analyst to the group.
Looking for someone with sharp analytical skills, adept at financial modeling and very Excel-savvy (will be working with data from multiple sources)
Strong growth potential - the current Manager started out as an Analyst several years ago and has been promoted 3 times.
Compensation $80-90K + 5-10% bonus.
Role:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying key trends and variances.
Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to provide financial support and insight.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards and reports for management review.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and performance improvement initiatives.
Assist with preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and executive reports.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial analyses and reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus.
2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Workday) preferred.
