Responsibilities
Be responsible for GL accounting.
Manage the accounting and reporting processes, monitor all financial modules, ensure transactions comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies, and supervise the quality of accounting activities in sub-ledgers.
Lead the monthly closing process, ensuring ledgers are maintained and closed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
Prepare financial statements and group reporting packages; perform monthly trial balance and balance sheet reviews, financial analysis, and coordinate with the corporate reporting team.
Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, tax filing and tax consulting.
Support management in making finance-related decisions.
Drive process improvements, system upgrades, and development of financial tools while maintaining a strong control environment; establish and maintain effective internal controls to ensure reliable financial reporting.
Supervise and lead the accounting team.
Special projects and other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; CPA is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and reporting roles, with familiarity in AR, AP, and GL modules.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle or SAP ERP systems is a plus.
Prefer candidates with a background in Pharma or Manufacturing industry experience.
Compensation Salary range for this position is 105k-168k.
