This position manages the day-to-day business activities in a Financial Center, including the supervision of all employees, and is responsible for designing and maintaining the sales production efforts within the financial center. Nature and Scope

This position reports to the AVP of Retail Operations. It works in a team-based environment with virtually all other departments to provide superior service to our membership. It provides guidance and direction for all assigned staff, including performance planning and evaluation. Specific Accountabilities

Develop each employee to their highest potential by identifying areas for improvement and appropriately coaching, training, or correcting performance. Recognize employees who perform at a high level. Hold employees accountable for performance, attitude and behavior. Meet with each employee to review performance, set goals, and develop plans for improvement. Ensure exceptional member service to every member, every time by delivering high-quality service aligned with our Brand Culture. Ensure employees meet sales and/or service goals established by the credit union. Demonstrate enthusiastic support of the corporate mission, core values, and long-term objectives. Perform duties within bylaws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures. Train and supervise staff; assign, direct, coordinate, and review work. Possess effective knowledge of the credit union’s products and services. Understand the Performance Management system and company-wide objectives. Fairly and consistently evaluate employees against Allegacy behaviors. Manage daily activities of a financial center; supervise, motivate, and develop staff. Oversee and direct financial center activities to achieve sales and organization goals to increase market share; typically 50% of this role leads cross-sell efforts. Develop and implement bi-weekly sales meetings to coach employees. Oversee audit compliance, security, safety, and maintenance of the financial center. Ensure loan closings and product openings are completed timely and in line with AFCU policies and procedures. Assist other departments to grow membership and increase community awareness of AFCU. Incorporate AFCU performance attributes in daily work and maintain a professional, courteous attitude toward members and colleagues. Hire employees, direct work assignments, conduct performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong customer service and sales skills. Demonstrated leadership qualities. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Three or more years related experience in financial institution branch management. Two or more years of consumer lending experience. Strong sales, interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communication skills. Strong computer proficiency with at least intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Eligible to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System. Seniority level
