Summary Senior Accountant with an Atlanta-based restaurant/hospitality company.
This role offers a
hybrid work schedule , with one day a week in the company’s College Park office and the ability to work remotely four days/week.
Duties include a mix of accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and operations support.
Responsibilities
Work with business partners, including Operations, to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, controls, and provide support.
Record journal entries for monthly accounting activity.
Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
Review the general ledger for accuracy and perform variance analyses.
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Respond to inquiries and requests from across the Company/external stakeholders.
Assist with external audit including interim and final fieldwork.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting.
5+ years of accounting experience, including working with large data sets and applying data analytics to improve the efficiency of accounting and reporting.
CPA preferred.
Knowledge of US GAAP.
Strong analytical and Excel skills.
