Overview
We have been engaged by a large, Atlanta-based company in a search for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will report to an Accounting Manager and will be responsible for financial reporting, month end close, GAAP compliance, journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, P&L review, Balance Sheet review, internal controls, COGS analysis, and variance analysis. The role offers hybrid flexibility and a competitive compensation/benefit package. Responsibilities
Financial reporting and month end close in accordance with GAAP Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accurate general ledger activity Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet variations; provide variance analysis Maintain internal controls and support COGS analysis and related reporting Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in general ledger accounting, month end close, P&L review, balance sheet review, journal entries, variance analysis, and bank reconciliations Strong communication skills and professional presence CPA or CPA track encouraged History of job stability and willingness for long-term career development Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr. The individual may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and participates in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) plan. Compensation details depend on skills, experience, licensure/certifications, location, and business needs. Employment details
