Midstream Oil and Gas Accountant, 90K-100K+Bonus
We are seeking a Senior Midstream Oil and Gas Accountant for a leading midstream company in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have experience with allocations in a midstream oil and gas setting. This position offers a salary of 90K-100K+Bonus, profit sharing, and flexible scheduling. Job Responsibilities:
Prepare allocations of plant liquids production and residue back to the well head and at the plant tailgate using spreadsheets and allocations software. Generate sales invoices, purchase settlement statements, and record entries for natural gas and hydrocarbon transactions. Invoice producers and shippers for gathering, processing, and treating fees; record these in the general ledger. Respond to producer inquiries, and provide meter and settlement statements. Prepare and file monthly and periodic tax reports for state and federal agencies. Analyze monthly and seasonal volume and amount fluctuations compared to prior periods and budgets. Assist in preparing internal and external financial statements and reports. Follow up on payments and invoices to ensure timely collection. Process prior period adjustments for payments or invoicing. Reconcile volumes and values between spreadsheets, allocations software, and the general ledger. Balance plant quantities and values monthly to ensure accuracy. Coordinate with plant personnel to understand plant operations and output. Coordinate with sales and gas purchase teams regarding product pricing and contracts. Qualifications:
