This opening is for a pricing professional to lead the development and submission of competitive and compliant pricing for government proposals and contracts. US Citizenship is required. This position is based in either the North American headquarters in Columbia, MD or the new facility in Frederick, MD. Responsibilities
Work closely with capture and proposal teams to develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies for government RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation types. Develop Basis of Estimates (BoE) by managing pricing data, rates, and cost estimate models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations (FAR, DFARS, AMS, etc.) and support audits with supporting documentation. Develop and maintain pricing tools, templates and models to be used for government price proposals. Analyze historical data and market rates (e.g., GSA Schedule) to support realistic and defensible pricing with the proposals. Establish effective working relationships within the capture, sales, program management, finance, and engineering teams. Collaborate with program managers, finance, contracts, and supply chain to gather inputs for accurate costing and pricing models. Collaborate with the program teams for scope changes, contract modifications, and repricing needs. Analyze and process the data in support of price-to-win strategies and analyze proposal profitability. Conduct what-if analyses and risk assessments for different pricing scenarios using Pro Pricer in support of price-to-win strategies. Contribute to and/or author pricing volumes and other proposal sections, including pricing assumptions, methodologies, and cost justification narratives. Qualifications
BBA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar degree. Relevant experience in government contracting pricing, cost accounting, and proposal development. Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-focused team player with strong communication skills. Ability to work in a diverse international environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required: pivot tables, vlookups, modeling). Experience in ProPricer for government proposals. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. U.S. person status and eligibility to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. Compensation & Benefits
The total compensation for this position is $75K-$98K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure, and job-related skills. We Offer
