We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and controlling the fixed asset system and procedures to ensure compliance with all financial policies and regulations. Responsibilities Managing the fixed asset accounting process, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposal. Preparing and maintaining detailed reconciliations of all fixed asset accounts. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Prepare monthly spend reports, roll forwards, and annual Capex/depreciation budgets Review and approve Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) and conduct post-project audits and asset counts Partner with Tax to ensure compliance with property and income tax reporting Maintain policies, controls, and process improvements for fixed assets and Capex workflows Complete annual vehicle fleet registrations and support external audits Perform other corporate accounting duties as assigned Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Extensive knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Strong understanding of accruals, fixed asset capitalization, and depreciation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a dynamic and growing team.
