Senior Credit Analyst - Market Investor CRE Location:

On site in Tampa, FL, Miami, FL, Orlando, FL or Naples, FL

The Credit Analyst will work directly with the Market Investor Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management team and provide credit analysis support for commercial real estate loans including loans to acquire, refinance, and develop income-producing properties. This position will assist in credit risk management and servicing of existing portfolios including covenant monitoring, annual servicing, and assessing property/market trends for commercial real estate lending portfolios within the footprint.

Responsibilities

Work with Portfolio Managers to monitor and manage the assigned commercial real estate loan portfolio, including timely servicing, tracking covenants, and monitoring property performance against expectations.

Analyze and prepare credit approval documentation in the commercial loan system. Accurately reflect loan terms, collateral, covenants, loan grade inputs, policy exceptions, and calculate credit exposure.

Assist in the preparation of credit analyses and annual reviews, including review/analysis of real estate projects, market information, and financial statements for commercial borrowers and guarantors. Prepare real estate and market analyses including leases, rent rolls, appraisals, construction budgets, proformas, etc. Analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements and debt capacity as needed.

Ensure accurate calculations and inputs and adherence to CRE policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Client Specialists to ensure systems of record are accurate for the loan portfolio.

Participate in internal credit conversations with Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and Credit partners.

Contribute to special projects and assignments and perform other duties as assigned.

Demonstrate ownership in team initiatives, respond to internal and client deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and work independently within the role’s framework.

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.

Self-starter attitude and quantitative mindset.

Curiosity, analytical thinking, and ability to think strategically.

Strong work ethic, organization, and written/spoken communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Accurate typing, spelling, and grammar; proficient Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Experience with nCino is a plus.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and perform complex calculations to evaluate decisions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting major preferred. Exposure to real estate, finance, and accounting through coursework or experience.

2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
