We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Structures Engineer - Strength Analyst to join our growing ispace U.S. team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our spacecraft systems, working alongside a passionate team of engineers and scientists dedicated to sustainable lunar exploration. We are actively seeking talented individuals who share our passion for space. Key Responsibilities

Conduct structural analysis for lunar lander systems in a rapid development environment. Create finite element models (FEM) from scratch and collaborate with the structures team to iterate designs that achieve positive component qualification margins. Validate analytical models with industry-standard first principles and hand calculations. Develop tools to expedite bolt/joint, fatigue, stability analysis, and prepare margins of safety per NASA and aerospace standards. Document analyses with key assumptions, methods, and conclusions. Analyze for damage tolerance, durability, design allowances, and structural modeling. Collaborate with other departments (systems engineering, quality, assembly, integration and test). Create and manage supplier statements of work. Contribute to a culture of best practices and lessons learned in analytics. Basic Requirements

8+ years of aerospace industry experience, ideally with space companies. Experience with static, thermal deformation, sine, random, and vibroacoustic analysis. Experience interpreting dynamic environments and improving structural margins. Extensive experience with FEM pre/post processors and NASTRAN (or equivalent) solvers. Knowledge of SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Knowledge of composite materials, sandwich panel construction, and analysis. Proven ability to build analytical models, process data, and present recommendations to the team for verification. Understanding of mechanical design, material selection, and fabrication processes for spaceflight hardware including composite systems. B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with industry standards for spacecraft structural and mechanical design, test and integration (e.g., NASA standards cited). Familiarity with project management tools, including Atlassian. What Makes You Stand Out

10+ years of aerospace experience, ideally in spacecraft development programs. Proficiency with Nastran and Simcenter 3D/FEMAP. Knowledge of Nastran DMAP. Strong structural dynamics and failure mode analysis skills. Experience submitting spacecraft models for coupled loads analysis. Experience generating flexible body models and correlating FEM results to test data. Experience conducting structural test campaigns as part of a test pyramid. Experience with composite sandwich panel materials, construction, and analysis. MS in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent. Benefits and Compensation
