The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new business with existing enterprise customers. This includes understanding their prototype and production needs, demonstrating the value of our offerings, and increasing our share of business. This role is suited for achievement-oriented candidates who think outside the box to exceed sales goals through collaboration with partners and internal teams. The ideal candidate is success-driven, adaptable, and thrives in a diverse, dynamic environment. You will spend your days communicating with teammates, stakeholders, and customers while gaining deep insights into the $50 billion low-volume manufacturing industry in America. Responsibilities:
Sell technical products and services to Fortune 500 clients Drive strategic revenue growth within enterprise accounts Build relationships with engineering, program management, procurement, and executive teams Arrange sales calls with prospective clients involving company executives and engineers Qualify potential leads Collaborate with technical and internal teams to meet customer needs Accurately manage data within CRM and other sales systems Represent the company professionally at all times Propose solutions and negotiate contracts effectively Participate in ongoing training and mentoring programs Align with company goals to enhance overall performance Comply with Xometry's quality and safety policies Qualifications:
7+ years of sales experience in closing roles 2+ years selling technical products/services in manufacturing 3+ years selling to Fortune 500 companies Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering is preferred Willingness to travel up to 30% Proficiency in presentations (in-person and virtual) Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) Strong prospecting and sales planning skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Bachelor’s degree required Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
