Plant Controller About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Plant Finance Manager to own all plant-level financial activities and partner closely with operations, supply chain, and corporate finance. This hands-on role combines cost accounting, month-end close, budgeting, and continuous improvement to drive margin expansion, working-capital efficiency, and accurate financial reporting. Role Responsibilities Lead plant financial operations: own month-end close, P L and balance-sheet reconciliations, working-capital reporting, and cash monitoring to meet corporate deadlines. Manage cost accounting and standard costing processes—maintain BOM/Labor/OH, analyze standard vs. actual variances, and implement corrective actions with operations. Drive budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analysis; translate operational KPIs into financial insight to support plant-level decision making. Oversee CAPEX planning and project financials—prepare ROI analyses, track spend, and ensure capitalization policies and approvals are followed. Establish and maintain internal controls, audit readiness, and SOX-compliant processes; coordinate external and internal audits and remediate findings. Develop dashboards and automation

(ERP/Excel/PowerBI),

coach and develop plant finance staff, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve cost, quality, and throughput. Skills Qualifications Must-Have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 5+ years of progressive plant finance, controller, or cost-accounting experience in manufacturing. Deep knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting methodologies, inventory WIP accounting, and month-end close best practices. Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, IFS or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills; experience delivering ERP improvements or reconciliations . Proven ability to produce clear variance analysis, financial models, and operational KPIs to influence plant leadership. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification; prior Plant Controller title or multi-site responsibility a plus. Experience with Lean/continuous-improvement environments, cost-reduction programs, and manufacturing performance metrics. Familiarity with PowerBI/Tableau for reporting and prior involvement in systems implementations or process automation.
