This range is provided by Friedman + Huey Associates LLP. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr This position can be hybrid or in-office at either of our Chicago suburban offices: Frankfort or Northbrook. There is potential to be fully remote, ideally within 2 hour driving distance from one of our offices for in-person meetings. We offer flexible schedules to allow for work/life balance. Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare or review a diverse variety of complex returns for our high-net-worth clients for their trusts, estate (1041’s), and foundations Consult with our estate/gift tax subject matter experts to develop income and estate/gift tax planning strategies for our clients Maintain current in-depth knowledge of and be able to read and interpret estate planning documents such as trusts and wills and be able to recommend planning ideas to our clients Review complex trust income tax returns, and estate income tax returns (Form 1041) Assist with developing, recommending, and implementing efficient and effective methods to maximize client benefits, especially by decreasing clients current and future taxes Train and mentor managers/seniors/associates on specialization areas, research skills, and helps to appropriately frame tax issues for analysis Performs other duties as assigned Superior verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively delegate work as needed Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skills Capacity to work well in a team environment as well as independently Capable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationships Executive presence and ability to act as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues and resolutions to clients Proficient in GO RS tax software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of fiduciary tax and wealth planning experience in public accounting/professional services firm specifically with high-net-worth clients CPA license or JD/LLM in Taxation preferred Bachelor's degree required; master's in taxation preferred 401k MST and CPA reimbursement Annual bonus pool Work/life balance Work from home Generous paid time off Summer Fridays Office closed between Christmas - New Years About us
