We’re seeking an experienced
Tax Senior Trusts & Estates
to join our growing team in Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in estate, gift, and fiduciary taxation while also working across corporate, pass-through entity, and individual returns. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on complex tax matters, enjoys collaboration, and is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review estate, gift, fiduciary, corporate, pass-through entity, and individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency. Analyze estate planning documents (wills, trusts, codicils, POAs) and correctly apply provisions. Provide consulting and planning services for clients facing complex tax and estate matters. Collaborate closely with managers, partners, and team members to deliver top-tier service. Participate in special projects, including estate planning, tax research, and consulting engagements. Engage in community and networking events to strengthen professional relationships.
Qualifications
What Were Looking For 35 years of public accounting experience with progressive tax complexity. Strong working knowledge of: Trust taxation theory, fiduciary accounting income, and distributable net income rules. Revocable living trusts, grantor trusts, marital trusts, bypass trusts, charitable split-interest trusts. Oregon estate tax laws. Corporate, pass-through entity, and individual taxation. CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing completion of the CPA exam). If licensed, must be a member in good standing with the AICPA. Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
