Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the Company’s Accounting and Finance team, reporting directly to the Assistant Controller/Financial Projects Manager. The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the P3 accounting team.
The successful candidate will ensure the execution of month-end/quarterly/annual reporting, budget-to-actual analyses, and forecast projections. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist with ad-hoc tasks, such as technical accounting research, and financial modeling/budgeting.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, strong commitment to deadlines and team, is process-oriented with a high sense of ownership in their work, possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and has a superior accounting and finance foundation.
This position offers a hybrid work structure, allowing flexibility to work remotely or from the office based on business needs. While remote work is an option, working from the office is encouraged for tasks requiring high collaboration or on-site completion. Office attendance can vary weekly, typically ranging from 2 to 4 days in any given week.
Core Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly/yearly closings including processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in accordance with U. S. GAAP
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Administer company credit card and expense reporting process
Prepare monthly/weekly/ad-hoc flux analyses and other ad-hoc reports to analyze financial and operating results
Prepare or collaborate on technical accounting memos to analyze complicated or unusual transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Assist in the preparation of P3 budget models
Assist in the preparation of audit support schedules and communications with the external auditors

Professional Experience & Knowledge:
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Experience in technical accounting including implementation of new accounting standards (i.e. revenue recognition, leases, etc.)
Revenue recognition and percentage of completion accounting experience is considered a plus
Experience working with D365 is considered a plus
2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance related positions
Technical Skills & Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant technical discipline
CPA preferred
Proficient in Microsoft tools (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
