We are seeking an experienced compensation professional with strong project management skills to lead the development of Client’s compensation philosophy, as well as provide expert-level support in designing, analyzing and administering compensation programs that align with business objectives. This critical initiative will help define our approach to compensation that supports our business goals, culture and growth strategy. This role is ideal for professionals with deep analytical skills and compensation strategy experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations Support compensation-related projects such as M&A, reorganizations, or system implementations Analyze market data to determine competitive compensation rates and practices Conduct job evaluations and market pricing to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness, using survey data and analytics tools Design and maintain compensation structures, salary bands, and incentive plans Collaborate with HR and business leaders to advise on pay decisions and compensation strategy Participate in compensation surveys and interpret results to inform pay practices Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data modeling and analysis Run reports and audit data to support our annual compensation review cycle Advise HR and business leaders on compensation-related decisions and policies Support annual compensation review cycles, merit increases, and bonus programs Collaborate with HRIS teams to ensure accurate compensation data in systems Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on compensation trends and insights Required Skills

Compensation Strategy: Understands how a comprehensive, scalable compensation philosophy can align with an organization’s mission, values and business strategy. Understands guiding principles for pay equity, competitiveness and performance alignment. Compensation Design: Understands frameworks for base pay, short-term incentives, equity/long-term incentives that align with market practices and internal objectives. Project Management: Supports the end-to-end project management of the compensation philosophy initiative to final delivery and rollout including planning, analytics, communication and other compensation tasks. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders and project team members to gather and document input and decisions. Research and Benchmarking: Consolidate internal data collection and external market benchmarking to inform compensation strategy. Strategic Planning: Support the development and documentation of guiding principles and strategic frameworks for compensation, including alignment with company values, performance management, DEI goals, and market competitiveness. Timeline & Milestone Management: Create and maintain a detailed project plan, manage key milestones, and ensure accountability across contributors. Communication & Change Management: Support development of a communications plan for stakeholders across the organization, including HR, managers, and employees, to ensure transparency and engagement. Documentation & Reporting: Track progress, produce status reports, and document key decisions, risks, and actions throughout the project lifecycle. Final Deliverables: Help package the final compensation philosophy document and presentation materials for organization-wide communication. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 7 years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR function Solid project management experience, ideally in Total Rewards and Human Capital Strategy projects Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Workday experience preferred Global compensation experience preferred Advanced Excel and HRIS proficiency; experience with tools like Workday, SAP, or Oracle Strong understanding of compensation theory, practices, and legal compliance Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities Able to translate complex data into actionable insights Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information DivIHN is an equal opportunity employer.
